COMMENTS |
Hatches were recently serviced.
Range: About 400 miles plus with a sixty ton cargo load. These vessels are very Seaworthy yet shallow draft with a 60 ton pay load capacity They are rugged and have many applications.
Accesses to the engine room is forward of the pilot house, then a Lazarette access is aft of the pilot house. Both wing walkways are fitted with necessary cleats and mooring bits. The cargo compartment is 42'X16'X4'6" with Side tanks that have 18" round manholes on both sides, all deck surfaces are coated with non-skid paint. There are two main fuel tanks in the lazarette area as well as the Twin Rudder Steering Gear. LCM -8s have a very strong steel landing ramp at the bow.
Engines can be run on the hard for serious buyers...
Inspect by appointment. |
